Concept Design
This is where the vision comes together. The Concept Design, or Masterplan, establishes the overarching idea that connects the landscape into a cohesive whole.
It defines the spaces, experiences, pathways, planting, materials, and key features that shape how the landscape will be used and enjoyed. More than just a plan, it provides a clear framework for decision-making and becomes the foundation for all future design and construction work.
Preliminary/Developed Design
For larger or more complex projects, additional design stages help refine and fully resolve the landscape design.
Once the concept is approved, we work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and other specialists to develop the design in greater detail, incorporating feedback, consent requirements, and technical input to prepare the project for construction.
Detailed Design
Detailed Design translates the vision into clear construction documentation. While the Concept Design establishes the direction and the Developed Design refines it, Detailed Design provides the information needed for accurate pricing and construction.
We prepare comprehensive documentation, including plans, specifications, and schedules of quantities, suitable for tendering, contract pricing, and construction. For larger or more complex projects, contract administration services and NZS3910 contracts can also be provided.
Project Management
We provide ongoing guidance throughout construction, helping ensure the design is delivered as intended. With experience across projects of all scales and contract types, we make the process clear, collaborative, and enjoyable from start to finish.
For residential projects, we project manage the entire construction process, ensuring the design retains its integrity and original vision from concept through to completion.
